Re: FROGS!

I like the Live Targets but I think the best bang for your buck is the Booyah Pad Crasher. They also have a better hook-up ratio because they are quite a bit softer than the Live Target. Trade off is they don't last as long BUT they are half the price. Jon

Re: Spinning Rods? who uses them still???

I have owned a few, ended up selling them. Would like to own at least one spinning outfit once again lolol What are the benefits and advantages a spinning combo will have over a finesse baitcaster that has a shallow spool? (Shallow spool resulting in better spool inertia for lighter lures). Is it p...

Re: Norcan lake map

I've never seen any charts for Norcan but I've fished it a bunch and i'll warn you it is loaded with stumps! It's not the kind of lake where you see how fast your boat will go! If you're launching off the Wabun lake road into the Madawaska and heading up from there be careful of a rock shoal that's ...

Re: May 23 Paddletales event

There is also a relatively new dress shop owned by a local lady called Main st clothing. Probably a very different experience than shopping in malls. The upside if your wife buys some clothes, she can't complain about your tackle purchases. Just sayin.......... Ed My wife used to come along for the...

Re: What are you looking forward to trying this year - part

-Jackall Scissor Comb 6''. Very intrigued with these, might need to pick up a few packs. From what I’ve seen, those legs/combs just never stop moving. I've heard the same about the movement. I've had some great success drop shotting larger then typical baits so that's the main reason I wanted to tr...

Re: fishing gear

I picked up one of the Cabela's Advanced Anglers tackle bags last year and absolutely love it. Very well made and I'm sure its gonna last for years. I got the magnum and its got loads of room. I was a little hesitant to order it without seeing it but it got a ton of good reviews so I went ahead and ...
