Hey Mr. J, If you decide to stay in Canada to buy your boat I would try to find an 08 or even an 07 model left over. Any of the new 09's are alot more than last year because of the dollar taking a dive. I am hearing about 20-25% increases over last year from alot of dealers. The same is true for new...

Here's my pride and joy. It's a 2000 Triton TR19 with a 175 EFi Merc. It also has a LMS 520c on the console, as well as a X65 in the dash and a x97 in the bow with a Lowrance H2O. It also has a hydraulic jackplate and a 82lb Motorguide digital. She's tucked away now for the winter, boy do I miss her...

Here is a nice spot to stay on the Ottawa River, http://www.pinecrestlodge.com/ I know the fish-hawk crew went there a few years ago and I think they enjoyed it. Rusty and Caroline are great folks and they always go out of there way to make sure there guests enjoy themselves. There aren't many muski...

All I can say is WOW, what a great night. It was amazing how much people did to help out the Big Guy. The food was great, Mercer was great and the organizers did an amazing job. The sponsors and some anonamous donors really came through with some amazing auction items. It was great to see all the fa...

Mick, When mine was giving me troubles I thought the same thing about the fuse but I was wrong. My dealer told me they can get a small amount of corrosion on them that would make them loose a good contact. I took mine out, buffed them and put a small dab of grease on them and I haven't had any troub...

I'm not near you but I may be able to help you out a bit. One of the things you should check first is the in-line fuse holder. Apparently they were having some trouble with them getting moisture in there and it would give some problems. I was having some intermittant problems with mine and that's wh...

If this is an older motor it sounds like it could be a prop issue. I had an older 15hp one time that did the same thing. It ended up that the old props had a rubber core inside them and the rubber would get sand in there or it would get old and as soon as the prop got any sort of load on it it would...

I know that area where they are well. The live clip part is not on the Ottawa it's actually up the Dumoine River off the Ottawa across from Driftwood provincial park. To fish there you need a Quebec license and a Dumoine Zec pass. Quite a few of the still pics are from up there also but quite a few ...

This stuff works really well for tubes also. If you have some tubes that are salt impregnated it's even better because the sauce will soak into the salt which makes it last longer.

That lake can be amazing at that time of year for huge Smallies. We did real well there last year around that time fishing around the large island and along the shore near Hwy 58 just to the left of the provincial park. I usually make a trip there early in October, if you see a white, black and red T...

So did anyone fish this tourney today??? At least the weather co-operated for everyone. Was there any huge fish weighed in? I am interested in how well they were biting after all the pressure that lake received the last few weeks. That lake is one of the most pressured in this area and it still prod...
