need a solid week of rain and low temps to bring up the water levels. otherwise be prepared for a lot of fish going belly up come July/Aug. Catch em before it happens lol.. Well supposed to pour tonight and tomorrow.. Hope it rains more during the week this year than on the weekends like last year.

I wouldnt mind getting in on that Bass Trip. Sounds like fun.

Im going down this weekend.. Fishing the docks near the bridge in Atherly area. Perch a plenty..

Not to get crap on but the spinners are small and work on perch, crappe, and sunfish as I catch them 90% of the time..

Out usin my blue fox spinner today and a dollar store spinner and landed 3 pike.. all 2-5lb's... were beauties and still swimmin at petrie at the moment.. had a fat catfish too. Im a catch and release person but I take pics of every catch unless its dainty. Petrie is lookin to be a good spot so far ...

Yeah this festival is fun. I was born in orillia and fished this event every year till I was 10 from the age of 6.. Till we moved.

Great fun and you never know what you will catch. Im going down this weekend and hope to net the grand prize.

I bought the combo last year with a different spinning reel on it.. the one I have I paid $39 but the reel alone is about $60USD.. great combo and it does work on 10lb pike.. I havent had a problem at all bringing em in. Actually found the one at Lebaron for $53... CT had em down to $39 as they were...
