You know salmon it has to be a fish to be added to the species list you have going turtles don't count   I'll probably have a go for the carp in a few weeks once it starts to really warm up... you're probably a week or so ahead down there... i can think of one or two bays that may have a...

Put me down as "notice for intent" i'm not 100% sure but will be in a few weeks. I guess it's a busy time of the year for most... hopefully the lack of response is due to people finding out what they're doing before booking.. i've talked to a few people that are interested but can't confir...

I actually saw a quite impressive hawk on a signpost on my way down to Ed's last thursday. Last year i remember fishing on the st.lawrence and out on one of the islands was a nest up a 60ft dead tree that was at least 1.5 meters wide with a very loud hawk of some description calling.. probably didn'...

Seeing as we're talking tires it wouldn't hurt to top up the bearing buddies with grease while you're on your knees checking pressures.

I checked mine last night and it said max load xxxlbs at 60psi when cold... hmmm so are we saying that I should be running at 60psi.. it seems a lot considering the tires don't seem to be showing any signs of underinflation. Are we reading this right... most tires have a max psi but do you really wa...

Hey salmon... personally i think some of the best anglers i've ever met are the ones that target multi species... there's something that can be learned from fishing for one species and then applying it to another. I used to fish for carp all year round but then that's when you'd mostly have temps ab...

Moosebunk while i've always gone for shimmano and never had one let me down they can be a little higher in price to others with the same specs.. personally i'd drop into paddletales or baitcasters and get some additional advice from the guys that sell them. Okuma has got some nice spinning reels as ...

I might need to drag a floating trailer behind the boat in order to cart them all around though. Ahhh we've alll been asked "Why do you need so many rods, you can only fish with one at a time anyway???" I know i'll be having a few more rods in the boat this year specifically for tha...

I mostly use a snaplink and swivel as i fish with leaders 90% of the time. Perhaps in clear water with super spooky fish putting everything in your favour may be an idea and dropping the snaplink would be an option.
