I was fishing on Sunday and I caught a couple pike on the shallow side of a drop off, at the side of a point in about 3 feet of water that is pretty weedy in some parts. I was using top water lures. One was on a Bleeding Zara Spook and the other was on a Storm Chug Bug. They weren't very big... mayb...

I do exactly what banjo does. I have brackets so I dont have to drill into my boat. My boat sounds similar to yours. I have 40$ folding swivle seats from Canadian tire. We bought brackets and you just screw the brackets into your seat, so you can remove them easily. It does scratch the benches but d...

Here's a little advice, I hope it helps. This is what I've been told to use by the boys at Le Baron. Deep Down Husky Jerk 12' (Glass Minnow), fishing in the evening and at night, around rocky areas where there could be a drop off (at the edge of rapids are good). Also some of my buddies have had suc...

Is it near ther 17 Bridge you fish or down at the other end? I've never fished the Mississippi but I always admire it when I drive over. Is there any good shore fishing spots?

Sounds great but I've never fished for catfish and I'm stuck going a family reunion this weekend.

But what are the times, because I'm going to be driving through Arnprior both Saturday and Sunday.

Fishing the Muskrat River, outside Cobden

Hey everyone, One place I'm really excited to fish at this season is the Muskrat River, at the end of Muskrat lake in Cobden. Has anyone gone out there and if so what did you catch? Sweet catch Ransome! I've fished there a few times too and I caught a very tiny Walleye haha. My friend caught a huge pike right under the bridge for the 416. I'm heading there in couple weeks, hopefully I'll catch one of those.
