I think it will be a wee bit later than what's usually prescribed. The boat has been out lots. The fish are still going bananas. Unless we get an icey breath from the north.....it's game on before we go tip-toeing...on the ice.

Not done yet....... :D

Spezza_Fan, The best thing you could do is try to have a look at all the units before settling on one because someone has offered you one. Once we have ice you'll be able to meet up and check the units out in use.... One day in early January (or sooner, if we get early ice) I'll have a few Vexilars...

The photos are not showing. I did take a look from your social utility page.

Tank testing looks great.

Can these jigs be ordered on-line and shipped promptly?

There are alot of us here that would like to have your latest addition of products.

There is a worldwide flasher 'zombie' movement. Where were the masses of flasher zombies in the 70's...80's and 90's ??? They were in hibernation for the most part and not a real threat to wake the ice fishing community at large....not like it is in today's market Zercom Marine had excellent flasher...

Best of both worlds with the Lowrance X67 Ice macheen. Pretty much covered 12 months of the year, finder or flasher. There are lots of brands out there....so at the end of the day, it's whatever floats your boat I suppose. I am actually looking at a similar model so I can use it on the ice or in my...

You hit the nail square on the head with regards to Simcoe. No need to travel to G Bay. The lower section is not traditionally trout and whitie grounds......more perch pike and walleye. Theres enough surface area on Simcoe to keep you busy for years!
