White Lake bass opener and a warning

Hey gang, I spent the day on White Lake yesterday, for bass opener. Like many others, we caught 40-50 in total, all approximately 2-3 pounds. We released every single one of them. I absolutely love this lake; not because it's full of big bass, but because it's such a clean lake, full of bass, even i...

Re: Sticky Skirts - How To Stop It?

I used a bit of Liquid Mayhem on my frog skirts yesterday, and they all split up nicely.

Good luck.

Re: Bass Opener

I'll be at White Lake on Saturday. I'm not competing in the BAA, but I'll still be out there.

Enjoy the opener,

Re: Looking for Evinrude/BRP lifting tool part #342672

Bump.

Hoping to install my jackplate this weekend. This tool is $187 at the dealership to lift my motor off the transom. Hoping someone has one that I could borrow, and throw them a few $$ for a few hours use.

Thanks for looking.

FS: 2008 Bayliner 195 I/O

I'm posting this ad for a friend of mine. For sale: 2008 Bayliner 195 I/O bow rider. This boat has seen very little use, was actually stored all season last year. Regular maintenance done. The picture illustrated is not the actual boat, but a copy of the boat for sale. It is currently wrapped up in ...

Re: My Bassmaster Classic Experience...

Awesome write up RJ! I followed you guys the entire weekend, and streamed the Classic live. Very cool to get an insider's perspective on the tournament. To watch these guys on tv and read about them is one thing, but to hang out and chat with them is an experience of a lifetime. Thanks for sharing w...

Re: Bassmaster Classic

Pretty cool watching Charles up on stage this weekend. Can't wait to hear the stories, and his take on the experience. Also, very cool to see RJ and the troops make their way to Oklahoma to back up Team Sim. I'm sure the support he got helped on day 2. Charles, you did us proud bud. Congrats on this...

Re: new finder

I recently bought my Helix 9 from Ed at Paddletales. Can hardly wait to put it to use. The Autochart is going to be a huge asset. Ed's right when it comes to Customer Service; I contacted them about exchanging transducers for the Helix 9 to a TM transducer; not only were they happy to do so, but it ...

Re: Looking to add a jackplate - need advice

Hey Adam, Thanks for looking into this. You are correct: the recommended jackplate for my 285ProXL is a 6ich jackplate. This is as per Stratos recommendation. I'm sure "anything" can be put on "anything". I think i'll stick with manufacturer recommendation for this upgrade. Thank...

Re: Minn Kota Talon

I would be hesitant to drill more holes in the transom. Perhaps a marine mechanic can chime in.... I would look at the sandwich style bracket that Minn Kota sells. It bolts between the transom and motor itself. Yes, they are $300+ , plus install fees. But, it means no additional holes in the transom.

Re: Ottawa Boat & Sportsman Show 2016

I went to the Boat Show on thursday. Those that I spoke to (reps and salesman) admit the price increases are directly related to the value of our dollar against the american dollar. No shocking news there. I'd be interested to know how sales went over the weekend, compared to previous years... I did...
