Looks like ya trimmed a little Doug. Less beard, less chance of sailing away in a strong wind. Good fishing. Semi-annual shearing, get it done at Easter and Christmas whether it needs it or not............ 8) Yep, those winds yesterday would have turned my head if I had my full beard on...............

It's not every day that a fellow drives a couple hundred miles for crappies............ :wink:

But they were on the menu here last night, first feed of fresh crappies for the year, yum yum!

Len, you forgot to mention I took off my snowmobile suit for the picture............... :roll:

Thanks everyone! I wasn't sure what it was at first but i'm pretty sure its a fall fish, the record is 18.5 inches so i wasn't far off. How did it taste? Doug I wouldn't eat it :lol: but it's in my freezer waiting to be cut up when the catfish start biting. Yep, they are not high on my list of fish...

That email is from 2006. I'd caution turning a blind eye to that regulation evolving into something more seriously enforced over the last decade. My gut tells me it's a charge they'd use if they were wanting you for other reasons. I've never met an unreasonable CO in my life. Well.....................

I think Leonard's up near Verona (Ontario) is no longer in the business of providing walleye for private stocking - but he was doing this for a number of years.

I was out today on Dog to help a buddy remove his ice hut, down off Ormsbee Road. Skidoo tracks make for good walking, but there was about a foot plus of snow, and in some places slush underneath that. And where people get on to the ice there is a stretch of about fifty yards or so of DEEP water on ...
