I beleive there are 2 sizes 1.98" and 1.78" there's probably more but they seem to be what everywhere stocks.

I'm trying 50lb fluro leaders for the pike/musky this year although anything thicker would be interesting to knot up... It's certainly something to try for sure and it probably only makes a difference in clear water.

Looks to be in the high doubles say 17-18ish.. long and thin with not much of a gut... a lot of fun for sure and they fight well.. :D

Well i better give it a go saturday and see if they've moved in yet.

Hmmm i guess the BOQ doesn't count :lol: I tell you guys the size of the rivers intimidated me the first time i saw them i think the great lakes would put me into shock :shock:

I don't see myself fishing them anytime soon but it's something i'm sure to try before i hang up my rods someday.

I have certainly started to pay a little more attention to what i'm tying on the end... I think the list of things that we should pay most attention to are action, speed, depth, size, colour. We do seem to concentrate on one rather than all of them but that's why we sometimes don't catch much :lol: ...

Best day was 2 years ago in 6 hours fishing i landed 29 carp with 3 of them being over 30lbs... you can always tell when it's going to be an outstanding day when the first fish comes within minutes of setting up.
