Re: What do YOU need to do to become a better bass angler

I still have a few lead jigs that I like ,but I switched to tungsten years ago,I special order all my skirts, and my weight configurations,my best swim jig that I've built to date is actually a punch weight, which my skirts never move on,fish after fish, plus,I have the versatility of a swinging hook,y...

Re: Noise in lower unit when in gear

Check for propshaft end play, and spin it by hand and see if it's true or wobbles, as well,,,,, sound resonates in water, isolate the issue, best you can, does it only do it in fwd.?

Re: Thousand Island coverage

Not to go back & forth but it seems like the same guys always at the top when Lake O is in play whether it be Renegade, Shootout, Quinte...etc. I would like to see a tourney held in Brockville with Lake O off limits then we may see a change in the names...maybe! Still very impressive weights! N...

Re: Livewell pump wiring

Re: Side Imaging Do you use it?

I've only run HB SI, but had it in it's early stages, it's an amazing tool, couldn't fish w/out it, just wish it worked at faster speeds, yes, bigger screen the better, i have a 997 and an 1198, but dedicate the 997 to SI and the 11 for split screen 2d and charting, the 998/99 8" screen is good...

Best place for small pc. Aluminum purchases is metal supermarket off of hawthorne rd., they sell their cut offs and leftovers very reasonably, and you can cull thru the extensive selection.

Re: Weather for Canada Day!! To Musky or not to Musky??

Mav, where are you getting those forecasts from? 3 or 4 sources we use at work are showing thunderstorms for the better part of the day tomorrow, with POP% as high as 90% for a lot of that time. Not that it matters anyways, you could throw darts at weather symbols and probably be right more often t...

Watch the weather closely, if your in a small boat, winds can pick up very quickly, and build seas fast.

Re: Looking for a good flipping rod - Suggestions?

Well is this stick for the heaviest cover ? Or just flipping weedlines and laydowns ? Are you just flippin 3/8 -1/2 oz jigs ? Or 1-2oz. Punch weights ?, pretty hard to beat an irod gen 2 in your price range, i've had good luck with my 8' carrots in xxh, and my duckett white ice in 7'8" , i also...
