If you'd like, I could show you how to mark the way point...you wouldn't want to forget where that spot is! ;) TOO FUNNY. Phil warned me about the dang thing. I can mark waypoints, that is if I ...

smallmouth #s

while fishing on the St.Lawrence this weekend I was just amazed by the sheer number of smallmouths I saw. I have been on the river for a long time and never have I seen anything like the number of fish i saw the last two days. On one spot, that will remain nameless  , my partner and I counted 5...

Re: Over powered boat

I think you are answering your own questions Shawn. I've seen the thread you put together rebuilding your boat (that was cool by the way) and to make it borderline unsafe is no offense, stupid. Fix the 150 somehow and get that 225 back to the "mechanic" that thought it would be a good ide...

Re: Over powered boat

If you like the look cool. But I don't understand why folks pay good bucks to other folks for the right to advertise their product?

This is coming from a guy who works for an outdoor based company.

the dam in Iroquois open again so the current is back to normal level but I am not sure what is going on at the long sault dam. water is slightly above average for July but temp is still in the mid sixties as of Sunday

Re: Lower Beverly lake

cool lake, holds decent LM and SM's.

lots of slop if that is your thing. decent off-shore weed edges. And very decent SM's in island saddles or shoals.

another option might be the boat houses in Iroquois. there are usually pannnies and a few pike right in the boat houses.

if you go to the beach area folks pick a few really good perch pretty close to shore.
