starting problems
Come on guys, new plugs every spring, not a big expense, plus put a little anti-seize compound on the threads of each plug. A little maintence goes a long way. Check the water level in your batteries will you are at it.

If money was not a factor, I'd get an AGM style starter battery type 27, or the big guy type 31. These are vibration resistant, no water to add, no acid leakage. Sweet Deal.

Never seen one available, guess it's time to become a handyman, my suggestion is to make a reducer (shim) and use available ones.

Try putting a little bit of teflon tape around the screw threads on the drain screws before installing, this can help seal her up.

There is a product called OX-Gard made by Gardner-Bender available at Home Depot about $4.00 for a small tube (in the electrical deptartment) I've used it allot on boat and automotive electrical. I've got 6 rods in the boat and 17 in the basement.
Tackle, hmmm just the other day I seen a basspro bag and when I picked it up there was a cabellas bag under that. I keep giving stuff to the neibourhood kids so that I can find the work bench in the garage. plastics are out of control!!!

Basspro Extreme 5.2:1 and 6.3:1 around $75.00 can you can have 2 decent reels for what you are planning to plunk down.

Ya you need a deep cycle, but sounds like your current battery is having problems too. A good battery should run that trolling motor for half day if not a full day, I believe that model use the maximizer circuit, so for longer run time don't run a full throtle, shoulg give you more time.
