Come on guys, new plugs every spring, not a big expense, plus put a little anti-seize compound on the threads of each plug. A little maintence goes a long way. Check the water level in your batteries will you are at it.

If money was not a factor, I'd get an AGM style starter battery type 27, or the big guy type 31. These are vibration resistant, no water to add, no acid leakage. Sweet Deal.

Try putting a little bit of teflon tape around the screw threads on the drain screws before installing, this can help seal her up.

Have you got a screen filter on the inlet pipe, you may have crap gumming up the works or you may have bearings going ???? Screen can be purchased at most boat places.
