I laughed out loud when i saw this topic, I love being Canadian. We've been using a chainsaw to cut holes for polar bear swimming since I was little. Ah winter saunas. I never thought of using it for Ice fishing, but hey why not. We've been painting the outer edge of the hole with dayglow orange pai...

Hello Justin, I agree with you, it was after Steve stated his opinion that he continued on to call me out on my advice. This wouldn't have been so aggravating if his advice where sound. The lumina, despite horrible reliablity ratings, isn't rated to pull the weight requested. The user also showed a ...

You're pretty quick with ambiguous statements to avoid looking bad. I guess it's better than having to appologize to people. I singled you out because you nearly cost a struggling student what sounded like his last couple of bucks. As I mentionned in this last topic, I have no problem with you stati...

Well, I'm not expecting to make any friends from this post, but it has to be said. This board is an amazing tool for fishermen/women. The ability to reference over 2000 people's lifetime of experience from my living room has DRASTICALLY improved my fishing. Someone posts a new idea, location or stra...

I'm really sorry Steve, but there's no way that a 4cylinder sunfire is more expensive for an under 25year old driver than something like a Grand Prix. Doors are a major issue, but 70-100 more horsepower is a bigger factor. Yes I'm sure the 2 door Sunfire is more expensive to insure than the 4 door, ...

Luminas are nice, but insurance companies don't seem to like 6cyl cars and under 25 years old. Even if it's a four door. Vans are usually a money saver for the engine power. They seem to want everyone driving sunfires... You're right about inexpensive to repair, it's a joke. Dumps are filled with go...

I recommend a GM Safari/Astro Van. They aren't minivans, they're pickup trucks with a van body. Same engine, same frame, same suspension as a pickup, but insurance is cheaper because it's a van. That's what my buddy had been using for years for the same reason... Insurance. He uses it tow a big fibe...

Try going to the dump. they might let you use their drive on scales. Have them weigh your vehicle with the trailor and without. Hope that helps. Also, Before becoming a photographer, I was a car salesman. There's a little known fact in the industry that everyone with a Big boat or camper should know...

KPIN, - It's too bad that you havn't felt the power, they've been compared to bonefish! It's raw power and crazy speed. They'll rap themselves around your anchor line in the blink of an eye. I love smallie fishing, but a 2 pound whitefish fights like a 3-4lb smallie... a 5+ pounder fights like a sal...

Speaking of constance lake... I don't have the best fishing days of my life on that lake right before thunderstorms. You could never catch 30 Pike and Largemouth in 33 casts right as the storm is visible on the horizon. And finally, I certainly havn't been rushing out everytime a storm is forecast i...
