You should annually remove the prop and grease the shaft. In so doing you will notice any line in this ar...

funny saying
My personal best was a sign at a pharmacy on wellington st. near Holland av. in Ottawa. The sign read- JOYNT"S DRUG STORE.
I haven't made it up this was replaced in the mid 80's
I still think of the sign every time I go by the area!...Larry

Where to cottage
I lived in the bay of quinte area for 5 years near Napanee and Hay Bay off of long reach. The fishing is EXCEPTIONAL and the area is close to all the amenities. The weather was great, less snow than Ottawa area. I really enjoyed my time there. If I were to buy a cottage it would be there. It is not ...

Trolling motors
I have been a fan of motor guide for a long time. Le baron stock some trolling motors but I had them order a specific model for me and no one in town at the time could come close in price. This was many years ago but might still hold true-worth investigating. At the time saved $180 this way......Larry

I would also rather leave them inside in a cool location charging them monthly. Too cold or hot are hardest on batteries. However when cold they loose there charge the least. I had a deep cycle battery for 7 years and was still running well when I sold the boat last year. The starting battery was 5 ...

Don't forget gas weighs about 5lb/gallon. Batteries can weigh up to 65 lbs.

John, The Bay is just getting started. I lived there for 5 years. The best fishing will happen over the next 6 weeks or so. The area from the lighthouse up to the cement plant is all very good water. Don't forget south of the ferry you are allowed 2 lines to a person! I have enjoyed many great days ...
