Re: Big Rideau Lake Lakers
I used to catch lots off of murphy's point and the rock wall in the narrows , looking for smallies starting in 70-80 fow and "walking" uphill (towards shore), with a dropshot rig or a tube on a c-rig,they are real easy to find stacked up on sonar, getting them to bite is another thing.

Re: Lakers on fire
Those are dandy fish, real nice looking too. That's a neat hue from the camera flash. Cat Island Lodge on Trout Lake. Wow, what a set up. Does you brother work there? High end for the wealthy. But those Excellent Adventures fly-in outposts would be my preference if I had the coin. That's quite the ...

In northern ont., my brother keeps me updated, these come from his camp, and the guys that are wore out from reeling them in are just customers, from the states, just thought i'd post for the Lake Trout guy's. http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k615/cajunmerc/992724DA-44FF-4A03-B516-5111ED7CDC06_zp...

Re: Musky fishing on the Madawaska...
Yes it is easy to find, you can buy the park/launch permits at the antrim truck stop, we had a musky club outing there last Saturday, was a terrible bite, but that was last week, and yep, she can blow pretty choppy, but lotsa' coves and hiding spots, alot of those quiet shallow coves hold good fish,...

Re: St. Lawrence near Prescott and NY License . . .
Like Ed mentioned, very wise to watch the chart, there are actually spots further east where the deeper water is US water, for running on plane, and it appears like they were drunk , when they drew the lines. There is times you will see more NY boats trolling than canadian boats, but most guys know ...

Duckett micro magic , it's an xh 7'6"
Or 8", duckett doesn't rate their tips on their site, but it's a fast tip, it'll flip a small bass 2-3 pounds, 40 feet in the air from the slop righ over your boat ! ,
