Re: Combining both of my passions = My first video!!!

You gotta tell us Yves, what instruments were you playing? (if not all of them) I was getting sidetracked from the video by the audio actually. Lots and lots of change-ups and rearrangements in the song, much of it really catchy. It's very well done! Whether it's all you, or you and help, it's solid...

Your website is excellent! Thanks Gorf! :D It took a long while to come together but it stayed very close to the original vision of it. Wordsy...there's too many words and pics. :D What's the true audience for an epic report like this? Cause you're casting pearls but that ain't important. It all st...

Re: A NUNAVUT NOMAD FOR ARCTIC CHAR. Report & More.

Congrats on the new site, those are some wicked colors! Colors on the fish or at the site? Thanks Shawn! I lived in Nunavut for 8 years, working from Arviat to Repulse Bay and parts between. Loved the hunting and fishing. I have a number of stories myself. I used to teach a Trapping, Skinning...

A NUNAVUT NOMAD FOR ARCTIC CHAR. Report & More.

Admittedly I have procrastinated on creating a website for several years. It was probably around 2010-11 when leaving one private website, seeing another suffer a crash and watching two others completely fold up, that I found myself racing around the www to sites remaining, trying to collect as many...

Re: Sturgeon Fishing in Montreal 2016

How many dozen worms you need for a session ? Depends on the session Brent! But arm yourself with ten times what you might normally take. As you know, was up there awhile ago to give it a go with my buddy Len. Had to do some homework then gave it the old college try. Intense day of fis...

Thanks doods!

Reports are still coming along slow... well, not really at all at the moment cause they're kinda not finished or even started yet. Fall weather just too perfect and all.

Just keep fishing for now. Winter is coming.

Re: Cabelas... Whatchya Think?

In this morning with the crowd. No foot massage but a little beef jerky goes further with me. It was as expected and overall I'm pleased enough with that. Met a few local folks to chat with while there and picked up some PDeez from Paul himself. Looking at things as a multispecies angler and breakin...

Re: Cabelas... Whatchya Think?

Remembering what I had done with SAIL... had picked 15 rando things which were either needed or recently purchased. Priced them at SAIL and LeB's to find 12 out of 15 were more expensive at SAIL. (CTC's around here are the most ridiculous $$$) Do shop both LeB's and SAIL, but historically would gues...

Cabelas... Whatchya Think?

Couple days away now from the opening of Ottawa's Cabelas store out in the west end. Have never been to one and looking forward to it. Some I've talked to over time, who have visited the Toronto store have various opinions, so it'll be good to make up my own mind this week. LeBarons and Cabelas were...

Nope! Not Quite Dead & Gone Yet... Busy Fishing.

Work and play this summer have surely kept me living. End of June and the school year, had returned from Nipigon after a short stint guiding for Onaman River Resort and the New Fly Fisher. BIG, BIG, BIG, pike over and over again with some great speck fishing too. Speckie episode should air sometime ...
