Thanks Guys

I checked my Rapala spring scale and it is pretty accurate also, I just can't say I caught a 5.4 lb walleye it is not that precise.

Has anybody checked to see how accurate they are? Say by taking a 5lb dumbell and seeing if it shows 5 lbs. Just cur...

in most cases 8 inches is more than enough.

When it gets really cold the 10 inch is nice to have because they don't freeze up as quick.

My boat is insured as an add on to my house insurance to allow me extend my season.

most boat insurances policies that I looked at ended in Nov. and I try to fish until January if the weather permits.

For Quinte and Great Lakes fishing - get your wind reports from WindGuru...they are very accurate: http://www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?go=1&lang=eng&vs=1&sc=298&wj=kmh&tj=c&odh=3&doh=22&fhours=180 The NAM12 gives wind gusts that really help out on the water. -sheldo...

Nice pics and great report

Badger shark, for the sand in the past I have used Kitty litter when I couldn't find sand, it worked pretty good.

Can't wait until Dec 1st.
