I drove by Petrie on Saturday afternoon and it was a zoo on the ice, including people still driving on it.

Long Island locks. Good parking with an easy walk onto the ice, tons of perch and you can set up pike lines along the weed edge.

Are you fishing from a boat, if so there are two launches at Petrie. If you launch on the more expensive one it is a little easier getting out to the main channel.
