Rob if it wasn't for this site I would not have made my lifelong friends that I met through here and fishing would not have become such an obsession for me. I truly thank you and Mike for starting this site and creating a home for us all to share our love for the sport. I am sure I'll run into you again in Ottawa sometime. Take care Rob :)

Hey Rob: I stumbled onto this site a long time ago and the only reason I stayed here is because I sent you a PM on my second day here asking for some info on launches. You replied within hours to me and told me to go to hell and find your own damn launches..lol. No i joke!! You were curtious and kind and directed me to a few places within the forum where people had been gathering this info. Also in the first year I had the pleasure of fishing with you in your boat and I got to understand the Rob behind the bobber. He is not as fun as the Bobber but hey when you get a free invite to fish you deal with whatever crap is thrown your way. I have mixed emotions on this but I know this is the best choice for you and your family and I greet you into retirement with open arms and an open seat anytime you want it.

To RJ and Luke: Dont F this site up guys!! I think Rob could not have chosen two ( well Luke at least ) better guys to run this horse and pony show and I am along for the ride be it bumpy or smooth and if you two need any help in any way you know I am here for you both and the good of the site.

Now enough sappy stuff, go have a beer Rob and get strumming the guitar for your next gig.

Happy belated B day as well big guy!
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

Thanks for all of your hard work to this point Bobber. Hopefully now you can enjoy the site more as a strategic advisor / casual member.

Congrats and thanks go to RJ and Luke for taking over. I look forward to seeing what's on deck for FH. (I'm going to PM you with an idea—one way I might be able to help).

Cheers,

E

Thanks Rob for all your hard work in creating and maintaining this site - you have created a "legend in your own time", and I'm sure the new guys will do everything possible to carry on with your traditions.

Happy birthday and we hope your musical interest will not prevent you from spending a lot of time on the water.

Best wishes for the future.
