2010 BAOO TEAM OF THE YEAR

Post by Jimmy_1 »

Is Jimmy_1 and Mikemicropterus!

2nd place finish on Muskrat (1/2 lb away from 1st! Congrats Darren and Sherry!)
Mike caught biggest fish of the day too! 4.45Lb largie to give us a total bag of 14.45 Lbs per for 4 fish.

Jimmy caught first keeper..a 3lb+ smallie on FIRST cast of the day!

It was a blast fishing this series with everybody and a HUGE thanks goes out to my partner for teaching me so much and for just letting me be his partner for the year!

Mike; I learned a lot from you,had a ton of fun and feel I come away this year a better educated bass fisherman. Granted I caught fewer fish this year compared to last, but the fish caught were bigger..

I very much look forward to the classic now on Big Rideau!

Thanks all!

There are some VERY good Bass anglers in the club. One team actually are a previous Renegade Team of the Year. So the skill and competition is for sure there!

Do I rank myself anywhere near Mike,Steve or Andy....absolutley not!!!Not even CLOSE!

But its just to say the caliber of guys you fish with and against!

Some days are just freakin miserable! Pattern you had pre-fishing has shut down, bite is off, fish are shallow, fish are deep etc etc.

Way harder than most think! For sure a HUMBLING experience for Jimmy!

Good job guys. So what were your placings for all the tourneys?? Were you in top 10 each one?? Never fished a tour before so not sure on how the scoring etc works.

Just looking at that site, the field was only 11 teams... it that normal? Why so few? It seems like a cool series with a lot of history. Was there some sort of falling out that had a bunch go to another series?

Congs to both of you. Obviously a consistent year for you two... Was there are "Go To" pattern-bait or was it different for each body of water?

Yes the club was split in two.

Still 11 teams is 22 anglers. 5 tournaments, 4 fish for your weigh-in.

No fish DIED Saturday also I am proud to say!

Great to see when the Fan Favorites win...

An average fish weight for the season of 3.26 is very impressive.

Congrats!

Thanks! Didn't realize we were the fan fave's....

Looking at the Renegade stats...seems we would have fared well in that league to with a 3.26 average.

Top 10 team at least.
