You had to go down to 16 the day before to get under 14lb, but it was real lousy weather on Sunday which would have made it harder for anyone i would think, even the pros.

It's not all about the pounds (coming from the guy that nearly placed last lo0ol) but more so about the experience.
Some of the amateurs don't necessarily fish that often, some aren't as familiar with baitcasters, considering the winds we had last Sunday it can get frustrating trying to cast.

It got so windy at one time during the day, we all went for the same shoreline that would be covered by the wind. :?

All and all, even with the horizontal rain and winds, drenched and cold, my amateur had a fun time jumping the 3 feet white caps in the Ranger! :o

Justin (amateur) walked away with a brand new Shimano rod and reel with over 150$ worth of plastics, lures and fishing line!
He also insisted that I take the Paddletales gift certificate of 50$. Since this event was about giving it forward, I will be giving away the 50$ gift certificate to a Fish-Hawk member.
The burgers and hotdogs were also a welcoming site after what I would consider one of the hardest days I've had on the water this year!

Also, big shout out and props to Corey and Lawrence!
Lawrence is a completely blind angler.

Congrats to all, was a blast!
If fishin ain't your mission, then you can kiss my Bass!

Nice going Marc-Antoine, I laughed at the "It got so windy at one time during the day, we all went for the same shoreline that would be covered by the wind. :? "
You get days like that!

Cheers.

As bad as the rain and wind was My pro (John Belliveau) and I caught lots of fish I would say at least 30 but we couldn't get away from the 1.45 weight class which was kind of frustrating. All the prizes were great but what I'm taking away from it the most was everything I learned I must have asked 50 questions and he was awesome about it. The initial run down the lake has to have been one of the most exhilarating things I have ever experienced in my life really gets the adrenaline going.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone at Renegade for putting on an awesome tournament even with the weather. A big thanks to all the pros who fished the day before and still came out and took time out of their busy schedule to take us out and give us an awesome experience. I for one am hoping to fish renegade next year if all lines up right.
