Shootoutseries meeting announcements

For the first ever meeting for the Shootout Series, we were very pleased at the turnout from all the anglers! THANK YOU!!!

First thing that was explained was, the meeting was more for us organizers to hear the voices of the anglers of what they wanted to see from us, and the direction we should be going! If we don't listen to you, we won't be around for long!

What we did have to share was!

Ranger RT-188 loaded and powered by evinrude for the rumble on big rideau is confirmed!

The series also confirmed that Mr.Reno viola has been brought on staff to emcee shootout events.

Brockville opening event will have a gaurenteed 1st place prize of $5000, that will not affect the normal pay down scale to 7th. All in attendance agreed that paying down to 7th was the direction to stay with, along with not raising or lowering fees!

We also announced that the shootout will now have the capabilities to post live time update results with our addition of the taysys tournament keeper program

Weighin procedures were also explained that checkin will now be done at the live release boat to ensure teams come in order. This will help keep congestion from the docks and scales and also eliminate teams cutting in line.

The "showdown", was also announced that this event is still a TBA event, for both location and prize! Currently it is a CASH event, but is subject to change!

All anglers were also encouraged to email the series with any comments or suggestion!
