Hi Everyone,
The theme for the third Fish-Hawk fly swap will be “Your Favourite Bass Surface Fly.†If you're interested in participating, send me PM with the pattern that you will be tying. Please try to limit the fly size so it's castable on a 6wt rod or less.

-Use foam safe cyanoacrylate superglue (ie. Zap-A-Gap) for gluing the body
-Use a sharp razor blade to trim the body to shape

Underbody: 4mm Rattle, secured with tying thread

Legs (optional): White Medium Round Rubber Legs, barred with gray marker
Floating Wing: White 2mm Foam, folder over and clipped to form the head
Throat: Red Marker
Notes from Todd B.:
-For the swap the fly was tied on a Mustad 3366 #1.
-Pearl Estaz was used in place of white.
-The 4mm rattle seemed a little large for the pattern. I would recommend using a 3mm rattle instead. - Beachburger
