BWO Lifecycle Swap

Are you a fly fisherman who like to swap flies with others? This idea was brought to my attention a little while back and I think we should give it a try.

BWO Lifecycle Swap

Post by Todd B. »

Well it's been a slow year w.r.t. swaps this winter. wongrs suggestion for a BWO lifecycle swap (nymph, emerger, dun, spinner) seemed to garner some interest, unfortunately a critical mass of tyers has not materialized.

Given that everyone seems to be busy to tie (at home), I had the thought that rather than run a "mail in" swap, we could hold it at one of the local fly shops over the course of a Saturday afternoon, etc. Everyone shows up and ties as group and leaves with their swap flies all in one sitting.

If you'd be interested in participating let me know. I'm looking at at Saturday say from Mar 28th or later.

Cheers,
Todd
