Walleyes & Wine
2 cups dry white wine
i clove garlic (crushed)
2 lbs fresh walleye fillets
Can of white asparagus
Italian salad dressing
How to-
Lightly saute garlic with a bit of butter in shallow frying pan
Pour in 2 cups wine and heat to boiling
Lower heat to simmer and lay in fillet strips
Poach until flaking
Serve on toasted bread with white asparagus ("cold" on side lightly dressed with italian dressing)
Makes for a great summer breakfast.
