First Turkey Hunt/Season - How was yours?
Hope to get one
This will be my second year trying to bag one. I had 2 drakes coming in to me last year they were out about 100 yards when all of a sudden a darn yote comes out of the bush about 75 yards to my left and chased them away.I kept trying to call them back when to yote turns and takes a bline for my decoy she stops about 5 yards from it trying to figure why this decoy's not trying to escape,to late BOOM no more coyote, what a rush.Hope to bag my first this year turkey that is not coyote.

Bagged two jakes my first year and my first Tom in my second year which was last year! Not bad considering I got out for only 2 days last year.
Looking forward to Spring.
Only advice I'll give, don't over think the whole thing. Find the birds and work them. You don't necessarily need to find their roost. As long as you know an area they're in, you can likely call them in. Once they're strutting not much stops 'em.
Good luck!

Pappy...sorry I'm too late to forward the staring time. Hope you were able to to do the "walk-in" thing in the end.
There were 210+ people in today's session, plus they were saying yesterday's was about the same attendance. Lot's of additional hunters this year!
Now I'm really looking forward to April 27th!
