If there is no conflict with other Banquets (e.g., Almonte's, or the DUC in Gatineau), I'll be attending for sure.

Great poster.

One of the raffle tables at the banquet. Remember 1 winner takes all.

Duck Hunters Boat Raffle

14' G3 Yamaha John Boat
H&R Pardner 12-gauge Camo Pump Shotgun
Drake Side Open Floating Gun Case
Drake 3 Box Shell Bag
Drake Stand-Up Gear Bag
Drake Stand-Up Decoy Bag
Drake 3 in 1 Chest Pack/Hand Warmer
12 Higdon Standard Size Mallard Decoys

Well I wasn't as lucky as the winner, but I did leave the Banquet place with the John boat in the back of my truck. With the winner following me back to his place very closesly in his car.

;D

Had a great time. Wife and I met a lovely couple from MartinTown, ON.

It was also a pleasure to put a face to a name (i.e., franklauzon).

I had some luck.

I came back home with the following:

Image

Jumbo Folding Knife. Lock-back knife features hardwood handle and a stainless steel 7 ¾” blade with laser-engraved Delta Waterfowl head logo. When open, knife measures 18 ½”.

Parisun Duffel Mossy Oak Camo Bag

And a Delta Waterfowl folding camping chair.

Plus an Avery Guide's Bag (I'm sure my 2 dozen Deek self inflatable duck decoys will fit just nicely in that bag).

Got to give a good Thank you for all the South Nation Conservation members that helped make their first Delta Waterfolw Dinner / Banquet a success. Great volunteers.

Again Congrats on your first Delta Banquet. you can count me in for the second one in 2010, for sure.

You made out pretty good!

Nice meeting you and chatting with you on Saturday night.

We did have a good time and I even managed to pick up a pink camo Remington .22 for my 5 year old daughter. Needless to say I am not in the good books with my wife

Live auctions are bad, especially when the bidding was against Frank!

Thanks to everyone that donated prizes and that participated in this event.

One mention for Ed from Paddletales who donated a great prize.

All in all this event was a success and we're already planning next years banquet.
