Guns stolen in Lanark County break-in

OTTAWA — Police are looking for five guns stolen from a Lanark County house on Friday. Someone broke into the home on Roger Stevens Drive, in the vicinity of Burchill Road, east of Smiths Falls during the day, and managed to open a gun vault in the home.
The stolen firearms are described as:
• Thompson Omega single-shot 50-calibre rifle
• Savage Mark II bolt-action 22-calibre rifle
• Ruger 22 calibre rifle
• Tikka T3 bolt-action 243-calibre rifle
• Remington 870 12-gauge shotgun
