ShotGuns : Autoloader VS Pump Action
Hi guys,
I'm looking to buy Shotgun for small games like Duck, Geese and small birds.
My budget between 600 - 1000 $.
What is the Specifically comparing between Autoloader and pump action?
which one is more convenient and comfortable for me?
Some guys told me the Pump Action is more speed than Autoloader becouse it's depend on my arm.
Please any advice before I buy it.

Buy yourself a good semi if you do. Like a Bennelli, Browning or a Beretta.
Gunco normally has very good used ones in amazing shape and often they are the newer camo ones with interchangeable chokes and a rust free finish.
If ducks, geese and turkey is for you then I'd suggest a semi. For upland buy a break open .410 or 12 guage single shot.

Just to add another option, even though it seems like everyone prefers the pump, which I use too.
Does anyone use a double barrel shotgun in 12 gauge?
When I was buying a gun someone suggested a double barrel because as he said" you seldom get a chance for a 3rd shot at a duck and the double barrel is faster and does not jam.
I bought a pump because of price.
I did buy a 20 gauge double barrel later on that I enjoy using for partridge and still wonder if I should have bought the 12 gauge in double barrel.
Super

There are many many nice guns in both pump and semi. I personally shoot a pump and a lot of my friends shoot semi's. A semi is great when you need to get 3 really quick shots off but truthfully when you are shooting at a moving target you can only shoot as fast as you can get a bead on it. Once you get onto a pump you can shoot accurately almost as fast as someone shooting a semi accurately (at a moving target). I believe Winchester came out with a ridiculously fast semi which is also very expensive...its a nice gun but you are paying a lot for that speed feature, I would guess that not many would need to shoot that fast, or could shoot that fast at a moving target thats dipping and diving all over.

I would say the Browning Maxus but that is out of your range. I would defer to the Browning Silver... Best autoloader out there bar none. I have had my browning gold 3.5" and i hunt from the opener till the Ottawa river freezes over (mid dec) and the gun has never failed,,,not once!!! I have had benelli and mossberg both are good but not great like the Browning. I had a pump for yrs and trust me, the semi is head and shoulders better... The amount of cleaning is minimal compared to the anger you will have after missing ducks when you have to de-shoulder the gun to cycle a round.. (i know i know, with practice you don't do this) but with a semi, you are much more likely to hit that tough duck onthe 3 shot that you are with ANY pump out there.
Just my opinion..
