This was my second year with Magnum Hunts (last year one day, this year two days). Hunt with a guide from Sherbrooke, QC which is also an Avery pro-staff (like John owner of MagnumHunt). This year I hunted with him again, plus Phillipe Girard owner of Distribution Plein Air in Laval, QC.

Of course we made are limits in no-time at all. We like to help in the set-up and carrying of all the gear. We don't have to, but I feel like part of the team, when I do. Even left John a nice bottle of French wine for him and his guides to enjoy after the day at his camp on the Island.

Great organisation, as many others. Was also going to try St-Lawrence Outfitters (SLO), but other plans came-up.

Would be nice to see pictures.

Here are mine from the Sept 30th and Oct 1st hunt.

Glad you got out for a hunt -

You're not the only one who finds the picture posting user unfriendly...

see the links below on how to post pictures

Easiest is to use Photobucket...
you can just copy/paste the HTML from Photobucket into your message.

Barry is a hell of a good guy! He's an active member of our Delta Waterfowl chapter, and aside from needing a haircut, and a beard trim, he's a good guy! Clearly he can get you onto some geese too!

I'll second that.

Brought the wife's car for maintenance at Capital Dodge in Kanata. While waitng for the 8:30 shuttle bus, I was walking outside admiring the flocks of geese going by and up close. They were going from west to east, north to south and every ways possible. Non-stop. I personnally would not be able to work theae without doing something against the law. On the way to work the shuttle drove by some of the field near NORTEL. Man even the fields are full of geese.

Sorry no, but if you attend Delta's Waterfowl South Nation Chapter Banquet to be held at the Finch arena building, on February 20th, you might meet him there. Who knows, that's where the local waterfowlers will be hanging out and having a great time.

Ask Franky for details.

He should be at the Banquet since he's one of the members that is planning on helping out with the event!

I miss goose hunting already....

It'll be a long winter...
