Most people do not have positive experiences with it but it is still open so it must be good enough to go back to for the last option as it must have the last option available.
You will find the odd person on here who has never had a problem there but they must be buying fishing line or socks
Pete, is beating a dead horse legal ?

Just kidding
Depends if you baited it with apples...

I bought a rifle there and they told it would not be ready on a friday(scope mount and bore sight) as promised. I said, "if it isn't ready I won't be buying it." The guy working actually replied, "that's fine were busy enough."

In the end it was ready but not bore sighted.

Same ordeal

I spent over $600 as the store manager was nice to assist me as I too had to return a $26 item and he gave me a different attitude the next week as I did not exist???
What gives?

Way too funny!

They have the attitude they don't need customers....so if that is the case don't shop their.

Now if your "buddies" with em that's different...

Gun knowledge...that's laughable....call GUNCO and ask Jay about all the warranty work he does on the Stoeger factory seconds they sell....

If you ever find yourself traveling along hwy 11 at Orillia, Stop in at Ellwood Epp's. One of Ontario's best gun shops for sales and service.

Never buy anything from Lebaron's that you'll care about if it breaks.

NEVER BUY A GUN FROM LEBARON'S.

All they are is a mail-order shop that is local... you're better off just buying from a catalogue. Except nowadays, mail-order places like Cabela's actually have customer service unlike Lebaron's. I mean REAL customer service/support... not what Lebaron's does.

Really, I wish it was different... sadly it isn't.

I have bought firearms from Lebaron's before... 1 gun was a problem on the first few shots... so sad, too bad Lebaron's tells me. Here's a number to call...

...don't get me started about the voice of the fellow behind the gun desk - nails on a chalkboard would be a relief compared to listening to that for more than 1 minute...

I won't repeat my past experinces as it makes my blood boil. OK, well.. ONE of my problems was a faulty reel which I purchased before walleye opener in MAY, which could not be exchanged as they did not have the model in stock. But my name was on the list and it was to arrive in a week and I would get a call. Go back check, no. Week later, go back no. Week later go back, no. Week later go back, no. As the summer comes to an end, I'm still using a faulty reel, and it's in the last thing on my minda as I'm in ice fishing mode. End of winter I go back, big kerfuffle about why the hell would I wait 8 months to exchange something, excuse me D*n, but you were the one I dealt with, and I also dealt with the assistant manager, who after a week, forgot about me and did not call back either. Anyway the reel could not be replaced as they only had new models which were more expensive. I had to pay the difference to get a properly functioing reel, because of the INCOMPETENCE of the people running the show, to order a reel in from another store. So now it's only small ticket items purchsed from there, as a last result, if I can't find them anywhere else.........

I do wonder if guys like Spence who know what there talking about and read this board, show the upper management threads like this. I would be embarrassed as a knowledgeable employee to work there.

I guess either management doesn't see these posts, or they don't care. You would think after years of complaints on the internet, they would get the point.

Like a few others have said, they some times are the only place to get a particular thing.

Unfortunate for us, we have to do business with them at times.

Even if the ladies at the Tim Horton's drive thru told me to F off , I would still show back up in the drive thru again day after day because they have what I want and nobody else is selling it........

It will be interesting to see how many of us unhappy customers (two faced cowards) show up at their ice fishing night in January just to talk fishing with Big Jim.

though it might be interesting, you will not find me there, or at any of their events...

For those that don't know already.. this is the store that refuses to participate in the spring and/or fall outdoor shows, but instead, hold special sales that same weekend, and are open Sundays, the only two Sundays in the entire year they are open... just to compete with the shows, as opposed to simply participating....

Lebaron's, Ottawa in general have proven to me that they only employ Arrogant Selfish Self-centered Helpless Opinionated Looser Egocentric Staff.

But hey, that's just my experience.

You may well be right but it seems this "Dead Horse" is being dragged down the Cyber Highway / Street thus the bylaw of this city ( Of which has more than it's fair share of stupid bylaws ) does not apply ... Yet!!  ...
