So. I'm signed up for my Non-Restricted Firearms course at the end of March. How long will it take, assuming I pass, to receive my liccense?
Thanks,
BeaArthur

It'll take 45 days+ to get it.
Standard practice from the RCMP who has taken over for the Firearms center in Miramichi.
I am doing my renewal now....so I'm in the same boat.
Reneweing my Non and restricted licenses.
Are you writing the exams on the Sunday or later on?
The instructor cannot test you they have to bring in someone else for some reason....

Actually, I'm taking the course on the QC side. It results in the PAL, but is half the price. Go figure. They're availability suited my schedule a bit better. 45-90 seems reasonable.
Thanks!

Got my renewal papers this week. Already filled and being mailed back today.
Seems a lot easier than previous renewal, or even first attemp when system was being put in place where I wiated over a year and a half). And yeah! this time no cost for renewal.
