After my opening day spots failed to produce, I decided it was time to relocate.
After some brief scouting I located some nearby fields that were crawling with turkeys!
One polite phone call to the owner and I was in like flynn.
I set up around 5:30am and an hour later I had 4 birds making their way to my deke.
At 7:15 am I pulled the trigger and bagged a nice jake to fill my first tag.
Now I can hold out for that monster tom!
Another one bites the dust! (turkey report)

Nice job !! I find the more spots the better the chances of shooting one! the best way to get them is go were they want to go. Now show me a pic of that monster bird!!
