So of you may have followed things on our Blog. Well yesterday I tagged out on my first ever Buck.

Congrats!!

In coming seasons, this set of antlers won't be your biggest.. but they will be the most memorable.

Congrats on the buck Kim. Way to hang in there when it's slow. Well done.

The next one will be a lot easier now that you know how to do it.

But may I ask. Bowhunting during gun season?

Perfectly legal if you wear the orange.

Nicely done Birdee, took me two years to harvest my first. The first one was the most difficult, after that it was easy but just as exciting when they came in.

Yep...perfectly legal if wearing orange. And I can guarantee you she was. She'd get reamed by me if she wasn't.

Quite the weekend here!

Birdee,

Congrats, and it's always nice to see women joining the sport of hunting. Too bad you don't have your firearms liscence or I would have loved to bring you on the goose hunt!

Again, congrats, and enjoy the rush!

Naw, I'm not calling you guys out. Just that given the situation and time of year, it's an added difficulty wearing orange in a stand, and getting a deer within bow range. Most would have opted for a gun.

Congratulations again. Good hunting and good eats.

OK, maybe I'll read your blog now.
