Hi Tom,

I guess it's fine, and you will be safe there with your buddy.

Try to bring a dog with you, it will make easier.

Hi Tom,

Yes, hunting is allowed in Larose.

This link spells it out...
http://www.prescott-russell.on.ca/count ... FL_Hunting

This link is to a map that I have used to guide my hunting in Larose...
http://www.prescott-russell.on.ca/data/ ... c30215.pdf

I have seen a number of grouse/partridge on the trails but have never bagged one myself, but others have.

Cheers,
Ray

been out there couple times for waterfowl, the forest is divided up into sections which are easily accessed by roads. Some of the sections are mostly populated by marsh land or ponds, others containing a variety of trees. Keep your eyes open for the horse riding trails! Haven't seen any partridge yet but then again, there is alot of land to cover!

Good luck!

It is allowed. Lots of birds in Larose, although I've had a hard time finding them this year.
