What the heck is a "hidden beard length"???
Google search returned ZERO results for that exact search term (not sure i have ever seen that before)

I'm guessing and don't quote me but maybe a jake with a tiny beard.... I've seen jakes that you have to move feathers to see them.

I think they mean they will have a predetermined length... that if your bird's beard matches it... you win. Like some fish tournies have a hidden weight. Just what I think...
