POL now PAL

Two additional provisions of the Common Sense Firearms Licensing Act came into force on September 2, 2015
The elimination of the Possession Only Licence (POL) and conversion of all existing POLs to Possession and Acquisition Licences (PALs); and,
The Authorization to Transport (ATT) becoming a condition of a licence for certain routine and lawful activities.
I guess any body with a POL renewal will receive a PAL by grandfathering and your pol may now be used to purchase firearms Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I did not see it
