Looking For Info on Private Hunting/Fishing Clubs

I was down south this weekend visiting family and the topic of hunting came up as most of my family members down there are avid outdoorsmen. Several of them own farms and they actively hunt on their own property but a few of my cousins were telling me about a private hunting and fishing club that they belong to. I have to say that I had not heard about these types of clubs here in Canada and I began to wonder if there were any clubs in the Ottawa area (+/- 2 hours).
Given the seemingly private nature of these clubs, I suspect that I won't get many responses on this thread, but i would be open to chatting with people over direct message as I would be interested in learning more and possibly joining one if the right fit/opportunity presented itself.
