MnD Lures specializes in "Dakota Spinner" crawler harnesses. All of their lures are hand made with top quality products. They use 25lb test Mono line, tied to 2 Red VMC hooks, and Dakota Blades. With a shape that significantly reduces resistance, these blades spin and flutter, even at extremely slow speeds. The unique cut-out creates more flash and lets your beads show through even when the blade spins.

These lures have been tested and have had great success at catching walleye, northern pike, muskie, bass, and most any game fish. Use them for trolling, casting, drifting, even jigging ! Use live bait like minnows / shiners, night crawlers, or your favorite soft plastics.

The Review:
<img align="right" src="http://www.fish-hawk.net/photogallery/a ... jpg">These harnesses are quite unique with their Dakota style V shaped blades. They are a good looking bait for worms and crawlers and do catch fish. One suggestion I would make would be to put the spinner a little further up on the mono so as not to be so close to the bait. A simple modification that anyone can do.

Worm harnesses are usually used for trolling Walleye in my experience. With these, I have actually cast them and they work well too, with a little weight added. They remind me slightly of the Hildebrant #4's I used to use while Trout fishing in the Maritimes.

Just like any other harness, you can easily roll them up and store them with your other harnesses. Nothing special here, just status quo. The make is good, however I did find that the paint on the blades will wear after continuous use. The mono strength is great and the addition of the beads makes for a great spinner. As mentioned above, the materials are strong and good quality. Again, the only issue I have is the paint wearing on the blades, but this can happen to all baits which are used repeatedly.

Dakota Spinners come in a variety of colors which are sure ot satisfy the color combinations that you like the most. They come solid or dual colors and some even come with patterns on them.

Only one size from what I can tell and see. It would be nice to have a couple different sizes, particularly for larger fish where more flashy attractant could be of use, but that said, the size of the spinners on them are larger than you see on most harnesses, so it's not bad and I can't say anything negative about the size.

Surprisingly, I've used several different types of worm harnesses in my fishing adventures, but none have caught as many fish as the Dakota Spinner. I've caught Walleye, Bass, Sunfish, and even Musky on them. Although the Musky was an accident, it still attracted it, enticed it to bite, and held up to the fight so that I could quickly remove the hook and allow the beauty to swim away unharmed.

I've used this product on several occasions and was successful in catching multiple species with them. With a few tweaks on weight, spinner positioning, and harder paint finishing on the blades, I ended up with a spinner that worked very well. I do recommend this spinner for anyone who uses worm harnesses.
