Best seat in the kayak word is the feel free lure's seat.

But j guess it's more about what you can get into your yak. So it depends on how much or little room you have and how handy you are

http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/gel-s ... 1419p.html These go on sale for $9.99 3 or 4 times a year. I've never used one, but have seen lots of guys talk about them on other forums. Keep your eyes out in the flyer for a sale.A Hobie Vantage seat retails for over $750 :Dhttp://shop.foghmarine.com/pa-vantage-seat-complete.html

The best seat is. The one you try for a few hours yourself

I love my tarpons and natives seats.

No many seat that fit one make will fit other makes,,,,cause that is what make them deferent these days.

I cheated and I use a seat from an old office chair (on top of my current seat). It's got lots of give and feels great for the long hours in a yak 8)

I bought a Wilderness ATAK 140 18 months ago. The seat in it is amazing.
Works on a track. Has upper and lower adjustments. My son and I , I'm 6'1 and he's 6'3 were fishing out of it in Port Charlotte in December. I sat in my seat, he sat right behind me in the well. I was extremely comfortable, him not quite so comfortable but had a great 4 days fishing. If you can make this seat work great.
Downside is I have seen it advertised for $299, so not cheap.
