stand up paddling in your canoe.

Post by joco »

ok there isa new sport ok mabe not new but we see a lot off it every where the sup thing paddling on some kind off surfboard.

but you can do the same in canoes.

ok there is been poling for a long time and a lot do it..i have stand up paddling my canoes to..but i dod not had the right paddle for it.

now wit the new extra long sup paddle..it more easy and a lot more efficent to do so.

i build one myself..but its not the way to go..i will buy the tru sup paddle and use it in my ultimate kayak/canoes and my canoes for sher.

personaly i think behing up in your anoe or kayak for fishing is the way to go for a lot off good reason..first you see farther away..you can cast better..you can sight fishing better..you can see where you going see obstacles...tons off good reason to be up.

its ok to be down..but to be up guive a you that litle extra hedge.

joco........ho yes if you fly fish..being up is a plus.

I do it all the time. As long as you are by yourself you shouldn't have a problem. If I am heading over deeper water I will close and tie my tackle box to the boat just in case.

Good Luck!

I stand up all the time.

And I like the idea of using a SUP paddle. That would be great.

There is some new paddles out there 3/1. Canoe,,kayak,,,sup paddle in one, cool

In my canoe i used those 3. But if you can simply by a kit,,its less expensive and take less space.
