Open water???

Any open water for kayak crappie fishing around Ottawa yet? I want to go out this weekend April 18 or 19. If anyone wants to join in hit me with a PM/e-mail.

The only place I saw ice this weekend was behind James island. I would imagine it is all but got now.

The Ottawa still has ice near the rapids, the good news is it looks like it'll be gone by tomorrow!

Appleton is almost totally open as well. Little bit of ice at the launch but the rest is open!! The big lake has some open sections but should be wide open after this weekend I would think.
