Never fished there before hopefully I can get a few eyes as I realize I left 99% of my skis gear at the cottage.
I'm 80% sure I'll be there.

Umm... sorry if this sounds dumb but...

... are you offering a seat in a boat ? or just a meet up for other boaters?

thanks,

Otownyaker, the idea is going for musky, but nothing says you can't try for walleye. A multi species outing should be even more fun!

Ya I will still try for some ski on my light gear could be fun.
I can't believe I left my gear at the cottage, so stupid.

I looked on maps and I'm assuming the the launch is right at the end of the inlet?

That's right. There used to be a sign on the road pointing to the launch. I haven't been there in years. It's off White Lake Road.

That's the one. There is a sign to the launch on White Lake Road. It's a dirt road (maybe 100 yards) that ends in the gravel launch.

I thought I'd heard somewhere along the line that it's a tough fish on the Mad. No?

Musky is the fish of the 10,000 casts.

As for being choppy, well depends on the wind conditions, but so far it looks like it will be a good day.

I called the McNaab recreation office and they just told me that the launch is still there. There is a $10 fee for boats, but no fee for kayaks. Only if you bring a trailer is when they would charge you, so better to car-top your Kayaks guys. unless you want to pay the $10, which I probably will. Rather that than to break my back. LOL!

Oh! and they said that there is a sign on White Lake Rd pointing you to the launch.

See you tomorrow guys!
