Freedom Hawk 12 kayak

On sale at Sail for $800. Has folding pontoons and a bar for balance. Would appreciate input from anyone who has used this or similar.

Looks like it will easily brake.
The pontoons seem weak.
In a true fishing yak you should not need the pontoons to stand up.
I would pass on it but that's just my opinion

Bought one used last year and only had a chance to try it a couple of times but performed really well. It's my first yak so I don't have anything to compare but I loved the stability even with the pontoons half deployed. And I was surprised how well it tracks. I plan on getting out plenty more this season but for me and for now I'm quite happy. And that's a hell of a good price!
