If I was in the market for a new combo for my kayak, I'd be choosing between a Lowrance Hook-4 Sonar/GPS Mid/High/Downscan Fishfinder $351.94 ($393 with navionics+), a Raymarine Dragonfly-4 Pro Sonar/GPS $396.46($472 with navionics+) or a pricier Hummingbird Helix 5 which is over $500. All of these models are similar in features, go to a store that has them set up to play with them and go with the one that's interface seems the easiest for you personally to use.
