White Bass?

Great report guys - loved reading that one.

That pic doesn't do the color justice....the fish was yellow...not silver.

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks MT for the ride there and back and the for the roof over out heads. You and Tony are great guys to travel with.

Markus and Allison, What can I say? The whole crew lands in at your place and we take over your yard, your kitchen and pretty well the whole house. I can't think of anywhere else I have ever been that I have been made feel more welcome. You folks are great!!!!

Hoover and Joe, thanks for the trips out fishing that was great.

It was great getting together with folks that I have met on previous Fishhawk outings and meeting all the ones for the first time.

WIG, As always it always a pleasure to get together and continue the on going CHESS game.

PS WIG and Kyle great job on the fish fry. x 2

Tony, Great job on the BBQ!! I was gonna thank MT for a great job on the BBQ but I seem to remember that it looked like he was gonna BBQ but something always came up that took him away.

Finally, a minute to file a report. Got back from the trip in time to head to work. Then had to get up 2 hours later to get to the cottage to have the new hydro lines activated...Wahoo! It's gettin' there.

What can I say that hasn't been said. I have to thank the Kehoe's as everyone else has. These folks are second to none, just awesome folks. Thanks a million again for the hospitality. AS BTS has said, not many out there that'll let any crew, and especially a crew like us, take over their house essentially for a couple days!

What a class family! Even the girls put up with us! Thanks again :!: :D

Well Kyle and I didn't get to go out with Hoover as you've heard on Friday due to the winds. This stuff happens and hopefully, we'll make it next time! Thanks anyway Hoover :!:

Well we did get to make it out on the Saturday with Joe O'D. Folks, if you ever get the chance, go out with this guy. His knowledge is immense and it's just a pleasure to talk to him. Well we didn't have the success we'd hoped for on Saturday . While we could hear Hoover's boat nailing them over the VHF, we didn't catch many but, it wasn't from lack of trying. We spent 12-13 hours on the water Saturday.

Well our tenacity paid off after some 9 hours. Our other crew mates, G-Man and his buddy Paul were also class guys to be around. When the first "obvious" Bow hit, he just passed off the rod to the nearest person, which happened to be me. What a blast that was. The jumps these things make, just awesome. Here's the Bow I landed.

I have to also hand it to my Son Kyle. This poor lad was literally under the weather to say the least and he just lay down all day and refused have me ask Joe to head back. What a trooper :!:

Well as luck would have it, Kyle came back up on deck just in time for G-Man ( he was near the hot-stick again), to grab the rod again and without hesitation, he passed it off to Kyle. The guys a class act I'd fish with anytime! Thanks again.

Here's Kyle's

Well we tried to get out again Sunday but the waves got even worse after we'd headed out. So much so, I started feeling a little "green" myself.

Joe, it was a pleasure meeting you and I appreciate you taking us out.

Well Sunday night we decided to play some Texas hold'em. Unfortunately, I just can't bluff :!:  however, I did manage to stay even after our 3-4 hour game. Not bad as I see it, great entertainment :!:

And what would a Fish-Hawk outing be without thinking of Wolfe. We all came across these Stick bugs everywhere. When we came upon these two "doing it" I just had to get a pic for Wolfe!

And finally, I have to thank Fishhawk and Bobber as well as Markus for another great outing. My son was actually talking about it all the way home, when he wasn't sleeping. SO for him to actually tell me he had a blast, even after his woes on the boat, that's something I really appreciate!

Thanks again guys!

Survival suits should be mandatory for all Fish hawk gatherings  You guys never cease to amaze me with what you catch in some of the worse conditions. WIG when our kids were younger Greymist used to give them Gravol, makes them sleep but doesn't let them adjust. Try seabands for the Kyle next time you hit the big water, I've seen them work wonders. If you can't find any PM me and I'll see if I can.

Sorry it took me soo long to get on here and say thanks again to Mark and family for organizing the trip and for the great hospitality. Thanks also Hoover for getting me my PB Rainbow! Definitely the highlight of my trip! I had a great time and ended up with my PB walleye, rainbow, sheepshead (1'rst) and white perch, also a first. The weather sucked but at least the 8 and 9 foot waves made for a fun ride in the Striper! And Mark I only got your PM about the pics when I got home  Next time for sure   Can't wait to get down there again for some more rainbow and possibly salmon action :D

I knew if anyone would find the fish, you and bobber would. :P
Markus,

I couldn't have said it better myself. :D I'm actually just standing there letting the wind dry off my shirt and shorts. I was drenched from the ride!
