Bigger holes...

Post by Duck Gunner »

Too bad about the big one...
How come Iceman didn't punch a clover leaf close to your hole?
That fancy auger of his...
You might have gotten lucky and been able to hand line it into the bigger hole?

Good work on the other sturgeon you landed though... :D :D :D
I've heard of the odd (and I mean very odd) sturgeon being pulled through the ice but not three in a couple of hours.
Somebody got one on Muskrat Lake last year or year before, it was around 14lbs., if I recall correctly...

Well, keep your feet dry and your line wet,

Nightroller/Probassin,

Unbelievable! Spent all Saturday morning at the dealership getting some work done on the car. Looks like I missed a great opportunity to hook up.

DG, we considered punching another hole but we were worried we would cut the line! 20 minutes into the battle I said I just want to see this fish and I did so I am happy. A pic would have been cool though. Tony, I fianlly broke my Walleye jinx with a whopping 11 1/2 incer. WIG, if there are that many small ones there must be some big ones. Shows we have a healthy population in the future especially!
