Daiwa Tatula SV TWS

Just what the title says....anything and everything related to Rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, Plastics, what others are using, what works, what doesn't work, and anything else you want to talk about regarding equipment.

Daiwa Tatula SV TWS

Post by drake691 »

Has any one seen this reel yet in person? I'd like to pick one up if I can find somewhere in Canada that has them. I'm looking at either the Tatula or another Team Lew's Lite Speed Spool. I'm really interested in knowing if its more compact then the Lew's

Ed @ Paddletales has them, get them while you can :D

You’re talking leaps and bounds between the Tat SV and Lew’s.
On paper, the Tat SV has superior components, willing to bet the tolerances are tighter, hence a smoother reel.

That SV braking system is something else too. I've got left and rights in most if not all gear ratios.

That SV spools makes a difference, I've got a Zillion that I bought from Ed's, effortless casting and basically stops on its own once you get the hang of it.
