For catching fish or fishermen?? The BaitBall....

Just what the title says....anything and everything related to Rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, Plastics, what others are using, what works, what doesn't work, and anything else you want to talk about regarding equipment.

For catching fish or fishermen?? The BaitBall....

What do you guys think??
Personally, I'm undecided. They look interesting, the packaging is a little much.
Got in a couple squarebills so I guess I'll try some. Will probably grab some jerbaits to try as well sometime in the future.

I personally think they are very well designed... To catch fisherman.

The finish is second to none but the jerkbait just seems a little too small for me. I would be more inclined to buy square bills for some reason.

I actually watched a show where mercer was using it. (Live Targets main sponsor I think) he used the jerkbait in an episode of his show and it did well. I know that we aren't all able to fish like Mercer but I have used a lot of live target baits and have become my new favorite crankbait. I will definitely be picking up a few to give them a shot. The complete series comes out in august so we will not be able to see what all the baits will be like.

The bigger size is comparable to a Vision 110/Squad Minnow 115 all coing in around 4 1/2". They do look pleasing to the eye I will probably end up even buying a few of the Pearl Blue Emerald Shiner's, but highly doubt they will come close to the performace of the Vision 110's.

Question is, will this “new” design prove to be successful in representing schooling minnows on the run.
If so, this lure will be thrown in a few spots this upcoming season.
If fishin ain't your mission, then you can kiss my Bass!

I am going to have to take another look then. The ones I saw at paddletales last week looked closer to a 90 sized luckycraft than a 110. I even held them side by side and one above the other.

I am heading there tonight so I will check things out again.

There are two different jerkbaits and both come in two sizes. I think a 3 1/2in and a 4 1/2in.

That's a great pic showing the size. I did not see one that size when I was looking. I might try one this summer and see how it goes.
