Just what the title says....anything and everything related to Rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, Plastics, what others are using, what works, what doesn't work, and anything else you want to talk about regarding equipment.

Other than split, does anyone use any line conditioner on flouro or even mono??
What do you use if you do??

I have looked for the KVD line condition but I don't think anyone in the area carries it.

I have only used line conditioner whenever Ed spools my reels. Not quite sure what he uses, but he does sell it.

That sounds about right. I will ask him tomorrow if he doesn't respond to the post.

KVD line conditioner or Reel magic are basically the same thing.

I use it but regularly enough. Usually forget to bring it with me. It does work

Two totally different products, Reel Magic is silicone based just like WD40. The way it works is that it lubricates the line but actually degrades it in result softening it. KVD L&L is made up of a blend of polymers that bonds to the line and will not harm the line or your reel. Each time spooling up I soak a rag in L&L and run the line through that before it comes onto the spool, I will also spray down each spool the night before a day of fishing. I fish FC mainly on most of my setups and find line conditioner makes life alot easier.
